We’re most happy to welcome back one of our favourite a cappella ensembles, presenting a program that takes its cue from the Festival’s 2008 spotlight on Music of the Americas. musica intima’s talent for delivering exquisitely crafted harmonies will be artfully directed at songs by Rupert Lang, R. Murray Schafer, César Carillo and Heitor Villa-Lobos, along with a concert highlight – British Columbia composer Imant Raminsh’s Ave Verum Corpus. What could be more beautiful than this ensemble’s clear, luminous sound rising up to the rafters of Christ Church Cathedral?
